Academics
All Colossal students graduate with a traditional high school diploma and transcript meeting state requirements.

Additionally, each student personalizes their coursework based on their goals and interests, so some students will pursue AP and other advanced classes, some will participate in dual enrollment and some will purse industry certifications and apprenticeships.
All students will take electives each semester in "adulting" skills and college and career preparation.
​
All our teachers are highly qualified with at least master's degrees in their content area and or education.
All Students Complete the Minimum Florida High School Requirements:
4 years of ELA
3 years of Social Studies including WOrld & US History, Civics & Economics
3 years of science including Biology & Chemistry
3 years of math including Algebra 1 & Geometry
After Requirements are Met, Students Will Complete Additional Coursework Personalized to Their Goals & Interests:
These may include AP or other rigorous courses for those pursuing more competitive higher education, dual enrollment, certification classes or apprenticeships, according to their desired career path
Parentally placed private school students with a disability do not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the students would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as amended.

Additional Courses for All Students:
Entrepreneurship
Each student will graduate with a working small business or non-profit.
Some students will pursue this more as and elective, and some will spend several years building their business.
Students will work in partnership with the community to identify a need, create a business plan, learn about the financials, pitch their concept to partners and open and run their business or service organization

Additional Courses for All Students:
Internship
All students will participate in an internship, community service project, work or special interest one day a week all four years.
These will be designed by the student and their family in partnership with community partners and can change each semester or continue the same partnership for several or all semesters.

Internships happen during the school day as an elective.
